As we really enjoyed our tour round Sri Lanka, we would like to tell you our impressions. Tour Operator Miracle Sri Lanka – highly recommended!

Our round trip was agreed before our arrival to Sri Lanka. Our guide Mr. Ashad Wahab (at the same time - company‘s owner) provided us a lot of worth ideas and helped us to create superb itinerary for two adults and a child of 3 years old. As he said – our itinerary was a mix of adventure tour and some culture. And you know, our tour was really worth to be paid the agreed amount!

We started our round trip early in the morning from our hotel in Beruwela (with a meeting of Mr. Ashad and Russian speaking guide – Mr. W. Sachitra). The very first point was Pinnawala Elephant Orpahnage. It was really great experience! To watch the elephants in their daily bath in the river was a breathtaking. Thanks to Ashad and Sachitra, who knew the best time to go and see their bathing procedures, we got there in time. After that we went to Kandalama Lake. It was amazing, too. It was worth to visit Polonnaruwa - the ruins were well preserved. Kings built huge temples, palaces, parks, gardens. Moreover, there were three amazing Buddha statues cut directly into the rock face at Gal Vihara.

We had only a very short time in Sri Lanka, 2 full days and 2 nights, but we felt as though we experienced the full extent of Sri Lanka's beauty and hospitality in these short 2 days.

Day 1:

We had arranged the details of the tour before our arrival in Sri Lanka. Upon arrival on the first day, our guide Mr. Shamril met us at the Colombo airport early in the morning and we headed towards Kandy. Along the way, he told us everything about Sri Lanka possible ranging from history, economy, geography, politics, sports, a fun and easy crash course on Sri Lanka! We stopped halfway for a scrumptious and very affordable breakfast of "hoppers" with dhal & curry & sambal and Sri Lankan tea.

We are a young couple (well young-ish - 32) from England on a two and a half week holiday. We usually travel completely independently but as there is so much to see in Sri Lanka we thought a driver was the best option. I honestly did not realize what a great decision that was until we met Ashad for the first time, and then I realized this was not just a driver but a personal tour!

 We wanted to explore the hill country on a tour and then go down to the south coast and travel independently. We had a few places that we definitely wanted to visit which were; the elephant orphanage at Pinnewala, whitewater rafting in Kitulgala, to visit Nuwara Eliya and Ella and then onto our drop off point in Tissamaharama to independently do a safari, stay a few days then travel down the south coast.

О том, что мы летим в Шри-Ланку, мы узнали за неделю до отправления.
